About the Contest
SubmissionsOnly Chaplin Estates residents or business owners may enter the contest.
Digital photos can be sent of any size by email. Should you have a print photo, please scan it and send it as a jpg file. You can submit one photo entry per week that the contest is running. There is no cost for submitting a photo. When you submit a photo, we will email you a media release form. This will give us permission to post your photo on our website. This is optional, however all winners must sign this form so that we can release the results. We will notify all winners, of which there is one per category, of their success and we will deliver their prize within one week of winning. |
Privacy and Respect
We will not accept any photos that disclose any personal information, including addresses, names, or any other identifying information without the written consent of the individual(s) affected.
We expect that all entrants will use common sense and respect when obtaining their perfect shot. This means that entrants are not to trespass, endanger themselves or anyone else, or to infringe upon any law in obtaining their photograph. We will safeguard your privacy. Your personal information will be kept completely confidential and will be used for no other purpose but to contact you. |
Judging of SubmissionsAll photographs will be tagged, sorted and provided to our judge, who is teaching staff at the Ontario College of Art and Design and an internationally recognized photographer.
He will then assess each photograph on their own merit and make the difficult decision on the winning submission for each category. We will contact the winners on June 12th, 2015 and make a public announcement on our website shortly after. We will feature the winners, as well as other consenting entrants on our website. |
